Lowbudget Sonic Screwdriver help

Glad to see my thread has been revamped! I've given up on building a Tennant Sonic, but yesterday I had a brain blast. I'm going to build a Dalek-themed sonic. The emitter will look like the extermination gun, and then all around will be the little dots that they have ( I don't know if there's an exact name for them). I think that if i go through with this, it'll look awesome. Any tips or ideas?

The Dalek's dots are typically referred to as "bumps". :lol

If you make a Dalek-themed sonic, make sure the plunger could hold it :lol

I also would love to see pictures of a Dalek sonic! (I'm new here, but very impressed with the level of dedication and craftsmanship I'm seeing.) My prop-building days are mostly over since the MS has gotten to my hands, but you folks are just amazing.

Daleks have lots of balls? You know if you build it, you might plunger the whole of reality out of existence.

Thanks! Very helpful! I think I'm going to use coat hangers as the wire part. Gotta keep that budget low!
