LOTR book of Moria reference

Well if you don't have them/can't find them, that's cool. I tried doing a google search but didn't find anything like what you had.:)

One last question, how did you attach the pages to the inside/spine?

Well, not as well as I would have liked...I basically tried it the same way I did the Grail Diary, but it really doesn't work as well with a larger book with so many pages. I strung the pages together, glued fabric against them, and glued the fabric to the spine. I'm amazed it hasn't fallen completely apart yet..it's holding up pretty well, I guess, but I can tell it won't last all that long. I'm starting an attempt to make it again, though...and this one will be binded much better.

Ramsey, If you make a new one, I would sure like to purchase that falling-a-part one, as that adds to look and I REALLY WANT IT :D

I know this is five years ago, but I did some translating for one of the pages, not yet finished. First I translated the alphabet from Angerthas to ours, then the Sindarin into English

BATTLE BETWEEN THINGOL AND BOLDOG

I must say though, I like what you did but it is Most inaccurate. Thingol is of the First age and has nothing to do with Moria nor the Book of Mazarbul. He resides(or did) in Doriath, in Beleriand. Furthermore, all images came from here: Tom Loback which describes events of the first age, and your map of Numenor has NOTHING to do with the Book of Mazarbul NOR the reclaiming of Moria. I am curious though where you got a couple of other unaccounted images. I will translate those and see if they have ANYTHING to do with the Book of Mazarbul. However, nice try by the way. :popcorn

Here is the page (translated) with the axe. (the stuff to the left is gibberish).

Any one have any idea of the dimensions of the book? I guess I can base it on Gandalf's hand, but I'd like the dimensions.
