Lord of the rings High elven helmet

I always really liked this helmet from the Lord of the Rings. I tried to do it myself. This is the first helmet that I made.

I started to cut the frame from wood, and built it up with foam.

I sculptured it with normal air dry clay in many layers until it had been smooth enough.

After many grinding, I sprayed it with spray putty. I did the rowel. The foundation is paper and thin wooden board.

I planed the decorations and cut out from 1,5 mm carton board. I sticked them to the helmet. I sprayed it one more layer with spray putty.

I primed it with shiny black in many layers.

I prepared the mold.

its pretty cool, but you couldve put all of that in 1 post instead of 10, just saying. and im assuming theres more coming
