Looking for Tips & Advice for a newcomer!

Hey there!

I am new to this community and to prop/costume replica making in a whole and wondered if you could give any advice on an aspiring Creator!

I'm about to start a project to replicate the Combine Metro-cops from Half Life 2

I have absoloutely no idea where to start, i want to primarily start on the mask and work myself down, but when it comes to methods such as Paper Mache, getting the shape ETC i'm practically useless.

Any advice would be absoloutely fantastic and i would be forever grateful!

Stormthecastle.com has a pretty cool tutorial on how to do an easy and cheap spartan mask, but you could change it to what your looking for.

Also Indy Mogul, How to create a death eater mask, I think is PERFECT for this build. Just search it on google, they use a fiberglass method. and you could always but parts from Lowes and Home Depot like rivets, pipes, all sorts of things, just be creative.
