Hi all,
I'm currently in the middle of an iron man foam build but I made the helmet out of fiberglass bondo method. I am just wondering what tools or tips you guys have used to sand in the detail spots? Like the indentations, sharp edges, inside corners. I have been using dremel, popsicle stick and some small files, but I find it really hard to get into the small corners to shape them properly.

Dude the helmets a pain, I used all the methods you mentioned and it takes forever. The popsicle sticks I had higher hopes for. I saw some amazing results and I just cant get them to work for me like they did for other people. I used a dremel bit that was pointed and round on the tip that was made for cutting tile for some of the corners and to hollow out the crevices on the top of the helmet.Check around for diff dremel attachments like that. Im a huge fan of needle files. They work awesome. Dont buy them in a store! shop around online. Home depot had a set of 6 for $14! I bought mine off of amazon and it was a set of 12 for $6!. Im real new to this hobby this is all from my 4 week experience but I hope it helps. Good Luck!
