Looking for replacement Hasbro millennium falcon cockpit

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster. I picked up the large hasbro falcon to use as tabletop gaming terrain. Long story short, I have mislaid the cockpit part. I can't quite stretch to the $130 for the upgrade kit (I really don't need that level of detail for a terrain piece), but I was wondering if anyone on here has upgraded theirs and would mind me buying their original piece? I would pay, obviously. And it would help me out no end as I really can't see how else I can put this hunk of junk back together. Thanks in advance for any help

Interesting and disturbing at the same time!

Interesting, because I have bought the same model for the same reasons. I haven't started on it yet, but am planning on creating a styrene inner shell, onto/into which I can then build the entire interior, since the plastic the MF is cast in, will not take well to any glue (or paint, for that matter). The plan is to make the roof removable through magnets to reach the interior.

I take it you're using either legion or Imperial Assault miniatures? I found that those are actually slightly too large, especially the Legion ones. WEG miniatures on the other hand, being true 25mm would be too small, but WotC ones are right on the dot. Coincidentally, those are the ones I'm using myself. ;)

And disturbing, because how do you misplace something like that? More importantly; why is it even loose if you're not planning on replacing it with a 3rd party version? :lol

yes, using it for Legion, not perfect scale-wise (off the top of my head it's about 10 cm short) but I wouldn't want it much bigger on the table gameplay-wise so I'm happy with it.

And as for how I lost it, I took the thing apart, just to have a look. I think I got interrupted while putting it back together and the rest is history. I could possibly scratch build or find someone with a 3d printer but I figured if there are people here who have a spare one sitting around, that would be much easier.

Well, I hope you do find it, or a replacement, as I'm curious to see how someone with the same plan goes about fulfilling it :) :thumbsup

(and no; I will be needing mine :lol ).
