Looking for movie title from 80s 90s

At the risk of sounding completely stupid, I am looking for a movie from the 80s or 90's, but I cannot remember a whole lot about it.

This movie is about a unpopular teen in high school / college that creates this sludge / green slime from chemicals or other random materials that when the slime touches anything from a book or magazine it brings it to life.

I remember the front cover of the movie had a silver pale with green slime and for some reason I believe the movie was called scuzz bucket.

Although I have had 0 luck with Google and IMDB, I figure there may be some other people that might of happened to see the same movie as me.

That's not a movie. It's an episode of "Amazing Stories" called "Miscalculation," which starred Jon Cryer.

I remember that episode. So easy to mistake an episode of Amazing Stories for a movie. They were so good.

You're welcome. And don't worry, everyone has those problems. For example, I remember that a girlfriend of my uncle drove a 1984 Pontiac Trans-Am, and it was a girlfriend that my uncle had before he got married. I can swear with 100% certainty, that is what I remember. Yet, my dad and my uncle keep telling me it wasn't a girlfriend from before, but it was my uncle's wife back before they got married.

Yeah it was Miscalculation , I just watched it on NetFlix. I seemed to have mixed a few movies together and created one goofy movie.
