Looking for High-Res photos of Rey's yellow lightsaber from ROTS

I can't really seem to find anything except screen recording quality. Has anyone found any images of the lightsaber in it's entirety yet? Has Disney just decided not to release those images?

It's not really common for a studio to release high res prop images outside of featured new items. Since her saber was a spoiler, they didn't do anything with it ahead of time. Most images we look at are from high res releases. So we'll probably have to wait for it to hit Disney+ in 4K since it wasn't in the Visual Dictionary.

There's some pirated 4K images out there, so it's possible they exist, but they aren't common yet.

I've seen a few comparison shots speculating that the hilt is identical to the end section of her staff. Might be worth investigating? It certainly looks close. Not sure how much it has deviated in design though.

It is supposed to be the end of her staff and at first glance it's identical apart from the cloth wrap, the holes you see the balde through and the obvious opening flaps at the end where the blade comes out.

But looking closer you'll see a bunch of small changes to the parts, like the roundish part left of the cloth, which is a lot flatter and more angular than the original.

I have been working on a 3D model too, but don't want to commit to anything either until there are better images available

And a couple of Leia's. I said before that I really didn't like this one, and I still don't. But, I DO like the pearloid bits in the grip area! I hadn't noticed that, before. It reminds me of the pick guard on my old Fender Duo-Sonic, that I sold long ago. I miss that guitar.

The grips have the slightest round-over on the ends, not the sharp 90 degree cut of the Luke ESB saber.

Those scorch marks sure looks like they were madr with a tig welder.. not using any filler rod, just using the tungsten to melt it, making those baby circles
