Looking for advice on a custom Bowling Ball?

I'm thinking of a project very similar to the look of the Bowling ball with the skull in it from Mystery Men.
It really is just in the 'Hmm..I wonder if this will work' stage at the moment though :lol
I saw a guy with a lucky charm of his encased in a bowling ball once and that what set me down this path

So what I'm thinking is a custom bowling ball with an object inside it - anybody have any idea's where I could get something like this done? it doesn't need to be usable as a bowling ball or even as heavy as one as it would just be for display

You can buy them for around the £100 mark but a custom one will knock you back far more.

My local alley had the skull versions and there's some on Ebay around £80.... Skull Bowling Balls.

Thanks for the reply. I've found plenty of places online with a mass produced skull ball, but I only mentioned that as an example of the effect I want.
I've found places that offer custom paint jobs, but I need someone or somewhere that can make me a translucent ball with my object in it, which I'm not having much luck with

Check with companies that make trophies, corporate awards and tourist trinkets. They usually work with poured acrylics.
