Looking for a Sterling part

I'm looking for the part circled in red. Does anyone offer a resin version?

Even a half-cut would be sufficient as its just for show.

Re: Looking for a Starling part

If it's going to be a static piece with no movement then a piece of PVC or even metal tubing with the lines scribed into it should suffice.
Cheap and will fit with no problems.
If the tubing is to large then take a slice out of an area that won't be seen so it can compress down to fit.

edit.
looking at the piece looks like adding a thin strip on the side and making a small detail piece for the front should do the trick.

Wow, thanks for those pics. This is the first time I'm seeing exactly how the various parts fit together on a real working Sterling.

Did you take those pics? If you did can I trouble you for a close up of the port with the bolt in the closed position like in the upper pic?

Re: Looking for a Starling part

Try odiwan72, he had resin bolts a while ago.

Those are cropped images from someone on this forum IIRC.
Just found them in my files.

Re: Looking for a Starling part

I dug out a crunch casting I have of the part in question and snapped a few pix from different angles for you.
Hope there is something of use.
