Longshot Plasma Rifle

Here's a kick ass new blaster from my buddy and guest artist to our studio.
Master of all things fiberglass, a collector of more figures and models then you can fill a room
with, hard working artist and all around kick ass buddy.

Carlos Blanchards debut work to the RPF so let him know what you think of this piece.


Wicked repaint and reftrofit into a trooper blaster for when he hangs out suited up.

This model hasn't been shown refinished here that I could find, though many other killer models have been.

I just picked up the Nite Finder Pistol so once I refinish it I'll have some pics to go with this one.

And once he adds a flash hider on this it should look alot like the long range rifle from GITS SAC
(episode when they are looking to take down the hijacked tank)
once he does that we'll make an updated spec sheet for it.

Best nerf design ever.
Just repaint and no mods needed.

Someone point me in the right direction, did i read that this is just a modified nerf gun? Wow, it looks so completely awesome I can't comprehend...............

~edit~ OK I googled Nerf and found it immediately. You guys never cease to amaze me with this kind of stuff. That gun looks absolutely frighteningly cool repainted/modified. I give you a kudos bar if they still made them and we lived in the same town, you wowed me this morning.

I've seen a lot of modded Nerf guns and that is easily the best I've seen, it looks fantastic and looks like it belongs in a movie. It's just great to see the transformation from the CS-6 to that...cool stuff.

Well, now i'm definatly picking one up. You had me confused at first, but then i realised you took off the front Grip to make it look like a rifle. Extended teh barrel as well, with i assume, PVC.

Same, when i looked it up on Google, i couldn't believe it. You can buy this thing brand new for 30 Bucks. I'm Definatly going to start on one this week. You could probably get it for cheaper on eBay.

You can't help but wonder who the designers are and that they may be former real weapons designers
or are they just masters of sci-fi

Carlos kicked ass on this and gave it just the right accents.

I have seen other versions of this and its just not the same.
These repaints and refits if done just right give you the killer
pieces that could be onscreen and you wouldn't know it wasn't all metal
and all real


the SEBURO Effect is what I think should be coined for these repaints/refits

I'll have to double check with him but I believe he spent about
4-5 hours on it total over about 3 days

thats how alot of us work on crap it seems... couple minutes a day for a week or so... I think you get better quality that way because then your not in a hurry like you would be on a commission
