Logan Lerman cast as Spider-Man?

Rebooting is a plague that is sweeping Hollywood.
But the kid looks to be a good choice in the looks department. I don't think his physique can match Toby's though...that guy was JACKED!

Right, I was replying to the post above mine which complained about him being attractive...

The problem is Spider-Man has already been established in the films. I have no desire to see the years of Peter Parker before Spider-Man.

Even if we see an origin, I'm sure it will take place in the first 25 or so minutes of the movie. No one's gonna make you watch years of non-super Peter!

I read some where that Sony denied his involvement in the remake. This doesn't mean he won't be in it, but it is more than likely.

Well, I have no issues with Spider-Man being redone. Honestly. I thought the Raimi versions were rather... well... not very well structured. Too run of the mill... with implausible connections and the Superman/Clark Kent effect going on between Parker and Mary Jane. Way too kitsch.

Also... to have the super duper arch nemesis in the first movie with big explosions and all is just not a good setup... let the danger evolve and get more perilous instead of jumping right into stories about the villains that have enormous effect on Peter's future life.

Personally, I just don't give a crap. I'm not interested in Disney Spider-Man. The high school years for Peter Parker strike me as profoundly boring and very much a "been there, done that" thing. Although, honestly, that's my general view of Spider-Man movies these days overall. After SM3, I just can't bring myself to care about any further Spider-Man movies.
