I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the "tin can" prop to Little Shop of Horrors is out there somewhere? I'm speaking of the tin can that the AudryII plant was in in the begining of the film? I was wanting to get one for a model kit.There a really awsome resin kit available and I wanted to use that prop instead of a boring clay pot.

To answer your question, yes, the original screen accuraqte one exists. However there are many variations so if someone posts screencaps that would be awesome. I bpought a few from ebay about three years ago for about 15.00 each so theyre not impossible to find.

Thanks for the info guys...I PM'd Beeb89.Hopefully I hear from him shortly. The new kit is seen in the new Amazing Figure Modeler magazine.There are at least two other kits in there i want to purchase,so hopefully I can squander the money away.I'm not sure if it is "too big" for the can or not?It is a pricey kit,if memory serves...it is $225.00+shipping.YIKES!It is a really nice kit though.

hmmn, I got the can for $ 4.95 plus shipping on ebay a few months ago, made Audrey from a plastic easter egg covered in clay, some crafts store plants and spent about $20 total?

When I was in college, our school owned the stage prop versions and we rented them out. I always laughed walking in to the prop room seeing the different sized audrey 2s.

Here's my build-up from Beeb89's open-mouth kit:
When you go for the vintage Maxwell House Coffee tin, if you want it to be really screen accurate you need to make sure you get the variety shown here with A) Orange text (not white) and B) The large teacup graphic (not the small teacup with tea leaf branch behind it) and C) without any special offer banners slapped across any of the graphics.

Hmm..no word from Beeb89 yet :confused.I hope he is still around. I looked through my Amazing Figure Modeler mag last night and the Audry II kit is 13" in height/length and comes with leaves and vines. Is that too big for the coffee can prop?E-Bay huh? And they are screen acurate?To be honest,I'd rather line the pockets of RPF members rather than the corporate pigs of America,but I'll give it a look too.

Still haven't heard from Beeb89.I'm wondering if he is just *sold out* of the coffee can props?I looked for them on Evil:angryBay,but did not find anything aside from the Little Shop of Horrors DVD.Maybe I'm looking in the wrong category?Is there a chance that anyone out there has an extra coffee can prop knocking around out there?

Search on eBay for "Maxwell House tin" - there are loads of the correct one on there.
