List of Proton pack parts I can purchase at stores?

Unless you have a junk surplus store near you, I did say hardly none.

Some of the neutrona wand's lights and switches can be found at Radio Shack. The 1" thick electrical loom can be found at Home Depot. The 1/4 electrical loom that goes under the injectors can be found at auto-part stores. Pipes also at Home Depot. Most of the other parts are pneumatic brass parts and resistors, which you will have to order online.

As GK stated, very little to nothing...

Most of the detail parts are out of production pieces, or never found items...

Some of the pieces can still be sourced from the manufacture or an authorized distributor like the Clippard valves, but other then that for most of the other detail pieces you are going to one either make them from scratch, two find a resin or metal replica, or three kit bash something you feel is close enough...

The good thing is that there are many fine replica parts being made now, so finding them isn't real hard...

just found the rubber insulated loom clamp holder piece at a hardware store for 99cents.

GBFans.com is a good place for a chunk of the smaller pieces.

im pretty sure aj said that if you ordered by tomorrow you would have your order in time for halloween.

I checked out Clippards website back when I was looking and there was a local supplier in my area. When I went in, they had the Clippard valves, Nycoil parts, and vintage Legris elbows. So it's not that there is NEVER a chance to find things local.

when i was making a pack i found a bunch of the parts in a camping/military surplus/random parts type of a store......it mostly comes down to checking a bunch of stores that have tons of wierd parts, knowing what your looking for, and alot of luck,

but for the most part, the parts are hard to just go out and find easily.

ive also got a distrubutor in my area, ive got the part numbers for the valves, but do you have them for the Nycoil parts, and vintage Legris elbows?

but do you have them for the Nycoil parts, and vintage Legris elbows?

The problem with the Nycoil banjos and Legris fittings is that they both have gone through several revisions over the years while maintaining the same part number... So in the end the part number for the most part is useless, you need to find vintage stock that matches the descriptions of the vintage parts you are after...

I took me 4 years of pretty much constant searching to source all the real and 'correct' fittings, and in the end they didn't come cheap... I have $100s invested in these little fittings, they are like gold...

In the end most people settle for modern alternatives or resin... I know it's not the best option for some but these parts are rare and hard to come by...

The modern Nycoil banjos are very similar, just shorter and nickel plated... Sand off the nickel plating and they look fine... As for the Legris elbows, the current SMC brand elbows are pretty similar as well...

Here is a comparison I did of the modern SMC elbows to the real Legris ones

I think the Gumout bottles can still be found in stores.

Really no sense in searching these down as they were simply a poor mans way of doing the grips nothing authentic about them...

You were lucky. After driving for 40 minutes to my local Clippart supplier, nearly 9 years ago, they had no idea of what i was talking about. I had to order my parts from another supplier in a town hours away from me.
