Limestone book end carving

I made this awhile back, it's chiseled from 100 yr old quarried limestone, really hard stuff. I made it look like it was an unfinished piece of broken Egyptian artwork.

And a pic of what the stone looked like when I got it from the quarry.

Very nice. I also agree with the hieroglyphs, it would look good around the sides of the base.
