Sound's like your'e pretty inventive and keen to have a go.
Theres a real art to getting light where you want on these things.
There's reflectors, diffusers and lumino paint...and more.
If you ever get the chance to try an ultrabright LED torch at Jaycar you just won't believe how bright they are.

You will find something about drivers,leds,and soundboards,batteries,and other parts of a fx lightsaber.

I really enjoy building things or even taking them apart to figure out how they work. I'm sure in another life I must have been an engineer

I fully intend on building my own ESB Luke lightsaber in the near future to make the Taun Taun more complete.

I'd love to have one with a removable, light up blade. Ive seen a few great builds here so I'm sure I can get some great advice from some members.

Well it's 2am here, better get off to bed since the boys tend to wake up in about 5 hrs.
