Lifesize Star Wars collection showoff thread

I just have these two for now. Makes for a nice juxtaposition.

Is that a cKing Palpatine? Its pretty sweet.

Who did the Maul?
[/b]

Yes - CKing Palpatine finished by Neal Tracey.

Maul is Sdeshow's 1:1 scale bust ... waiting on Greedo ... :D

PnatheraGem,

Nice collection. Your Ewok looks familiar...see my pics in post #14. ;)

A buddy of mine got it signed by Warwick Davis for me.

Almost all of them have a mannequin to be displayed on

ESB Darth Vader
6 TE ANH stormtroopers
1 ANH GF stormtroper
1 F/X stormtrooper
1 ROTJ stormtrooper (so I like stormtroopers)
[/b]

Wow. Now that I would *love* to see... Vader flanked by 9 Stormtrooper mannequins. :eek

Seems like a lot of people here have progressed from collecting the 3 3/4" action figures as kids, and now collect the characters in lifesize instead B)

Cheers,
John

well, so far for me , I've got a
stormtrooper- complete
sandtrooper- complete- on mannequin
snowtrooper- complete- on mannequin
biker scout- complete- on mannequin
clonetrooper ep 2- complete
tusken raider- complete
female tusken raider- complete
Boushh- complete
jango fett- complete
R2- 99%
han in carbonite- complete
yoda- 60%
crow t robot- 20%
Tom servo- 30%
master chief- 10%
saving for a vader,
and then on to a set of ep3 clone

I've got room for another 2 mannequins, maybe 3 max. i don't know how you guys do it. My missus is cool about this stuff, but she draws the line at the bedroom, so it's off limits for stuff :lol :lol In the meantime it's not that big of a deal as I ended up having an armor closet where i can get to it all regularly to troop in it. :D

Thanks. Very nice collection you have. I especially dig the actual theater seats.

If I don't count WIP- I can only claim the Illusive Concepts Han in Carbonite. Thanks for sharing those most impressive collections.

I'm in the same boat for my Vader costume. I am having no luck finding something locally and shipping will kill me if I buy it from eBay. Decisions decisions. :)

You can always make your own mannequin from PVC. Then you can decide the pose. I have made 3 full sized and one yoda. sized. ;) I use foam mattress pads from wal-mart and duct tape to fill out the skeleton.

Just an idea. :)

a lot of nice costumes you all got.
Nice collections.

One important think that i recognised is that some of you have absolute superb costumes but using really slouch looking mannequins for display.

The right position of a mannequin is half of the impression.
It take more than years to assemble an accurate costume but only a few hours to modify a mannequin for a good looking position.
Just my 2 cents.

Loanstar, I agree with ya........However, Fiberglass mannequins are not easy to alter. The ones you mainly see that have odd or shoddy poses.........are fixed in those positions unfortunately. The one I use for my vader is so bad I have to leave the arms off..........LOL. I keep saying I'll fix it, but the hassle always wins the fight. Someday, an affordable Prowse sized mannequin will exist and I'll pay the price to upgrade.

Peace,

Dave

One full costume on mannequin, a Sith Probe Droid (heavily modified toy) and a whole lotta heads/helmets:
