Well I have finally got round to starting the new build. I cant really tell you how long it will take.
Firstly a skeleton frame will be made in my workshop from light steelwork. It will be a welded frame made from 25x25 box section. It will then be cleaned and painted white to blend in with the colour of the bike.
Today I got the foam board to start and shape out the parts of the bike. The foam is just a standard insulation board which will be cut to shape and then glued together to form a certain thickness. I will then create all curves by cutting and sanding. When parts are finished they will be coated in a hardener, sanded and painted.
I have enclosed a few photos of the finished bike and a few parts that will form the nose cone.
