Yeah, ummmm, I don't know that I would feel comfortable listing everybody out in the open that makes unlisenced helmets.

I agree Lynn. I don't see anything wrong with the thread, it is all readily available knowledge.

Well considering that the biggest brother was just recently the grand marshall at a certain event and he had thousands of unlicensed products all around him while he stood there with a wide smile on his face. It'd be a bit hypocritical of him to go after anyone. Oh wait what was I thinking, NHM you better change the wording. :rolleyes

I agree. Probably a good idea. "Fanmade" has a more positive connotation.

I used the phrase "Fan made" a few years back on my site and I think its a better term to use. You might want to check some of the helmets on my site - I pretty much have them all

Given these "fan made" helmets have been produced in relatively tiny volumes I really dont think LFL is interested. They're certainly aware of my site but have not caused any problems.

These threads only go south when people start to say "x is better than y"

Well I'm sure the majority know this info anyway, but it is still a useful guide especially to some people that may be starting out.

LFL obviously know this stuff as others have said. I'm sure "fanmade" would sit better with them also.
