I think this is my first post. I am at Fan Expo Chicago 2024 with Temuera Morrison and Michael Biehn. Love making costumes…

Fett costume looks great ! Any details to share on parts, construction, sources, etc… ?
Thanks. I actually made it almost entirely by hand including the gloves and boots. I used patterns and templates for the coloring/battle damage on Dented Helmet.com and BobaFettBuilders.com (mostly from World of Flight, along with numerous tremendously talented folks who took the time to post their templates/patterns and their builds). For materials, I mainly used PVC sewer pipes and thin plastic for sale signs and a heat gun with multiple settings. I think I 3D printed maybe a half dozen parts and then recast them in polyurethane to make them more malleable like that chip that goes in the back of the helmet or those model engine pieces that go on the buttstock of the EE-3. Unfortunately I never took the time to post how-to’s as I wasn’t sure if anyone would have been interested but I would be glad to do so if asked.

Ok, I am going to make a 'quick' tutorial on how I made my Boba Fett costume from scratch (well, mostly PVC pipes and whatever plastic 'For Sale' signs are made of). Probably start with the jetpack or maybe the EE-3. Hopefully soon...

Posted Part A of how to make the Jetpack at the link below. There is also a Part B which I will link to in that one...

btw, if the for sale sign is that stuff that looks like cardboard but made of plastic, the brand name is coroplast. it's super useful stuff!

That is good to know! I use it for lots of stuff. Bends well at low heat and super easy to shape. I need to look up the specs on that…
