Lenses on Spider-Man mask

Hey guys,

I'm new to this whole scene and just wanted to add lenses to a Spider-Man suit I recently purchased. I've done extensive research on this (and adding soles), bought a foam head, etc. The issue is, when I stretch the mask onto the foam head (or my head) the lenses I got don't quite cover the existing eye holes completely. If I take the mask off and lay it flat on my counter I can get them to mostly cover the opening (some of the border around the existing eyes sticks out).

So my question is, can I glue the lenses onto the mask while it's stretched on the counter or is that just asking for trouble when I actually put the mask on? Alternatively, should I just glue the lenses to the eye mesh a bit and deal with a bit of non-coverage? Or should I look into different lenses entirely?

For reference, I purchased this suit: New 3-D Spandex Lycra Amazing Spiderman 2 Zentai Costume [30281] - $75.00 : Buy zentai, spandex and these lenses: Hand-made The Amazing Spiderman 2 Lenses [30288] - $25.00 : Buy zentai, spandex

Thanks ahead for any tips or help!

Tim
