Lego movie Batman build Cardboard and foam.

Any chance we could see pics of how you cut openings on the legs? That's something I've been struggling with, and I'd be interested to see how you did it so they fit your legs so well and allow you to walk.

Hope this picture helps. The bottom of the feet are empty and the straps lift the feet up just a little off the ground so i walk fine. sometimes the lego feet catch on the front of my shoe but i could implement a velcro strap to keep my ankles tied to the back of the lego feet so they move as i move.

That's great! Thank you so much! Are you just strapping them inside the body then, so they effectively hang?

no they're straps that run all the way to my shoulder and loop back down to buckle to each other. granted it puts some strain on my shoulders as the straps rub (i had to put on those seat-belt pads to make it easier. The reason i didn't hang them off the body is because they wouldn't lift the legs off the ground that half inch i wanted. and if i put the buckles further up into the body instead i felt they would make it more difficult to get out of since inside the suit I cant unbuckle them if i put them on. the way the costume is now I can put it on myself as long as everything is laid out on a table in front of me haha (can't bend). I put on the legs run the straps over my shoulders and buckle them to each other. Then I put on the body which has a flap in the back that opens up and is covered by the cape.

Blacked Out windows..Other places that are dark!

Someone grabbed video of me at Big wow doing a test walk around with my lego Batman

SUPER RICH...kinda makes it better.
So we finally got our cosplays done for Fanime 2014 in California and had a really good time. It's been fun building the costumes and I may sell Batman locally or something. Never moved more than a foot every 10 minutes at con. Was disappointing the sound module isn't loud enough for a convention though, but o well.
here's a picture that's been circling the net a bit.
