Legend of the Bone-Hunter

Howdy, new update:

I made these 1/4 scale head busts cast in plaster so i can sculpt the predator bio's over them. This is a good way to make quick sculpt "sketch" to ensure the ideas I've made on paper is what I want.

So in the few weeks ahead I will be sculpting again. But before that I gotta finish my other molding projects which include pulling fiberglass casts for Ancient Elder that I've sculpted plus fixing my Iron Monger mold (resculpting also :) )

I was going to offer my thread for ideas for a bio ... obviously there is no need. I wish that I had drawn your bioconcept. If you make a 1 to 1 casting of it, I would like to be in line for it. :)

Dude make your own! :) I encourage everyone to come up with their own biO concepts. Its more fun to see the variations and interpretations out there. Like to see your thread as I'm alwasy hungry for inspiration.

I am perfecting my molding and casting skills. Hopefully I can make something good enough to own! Last night I casted my first Iron Monger mask from resin+fiberglass. It wasn't easy esp the resin kept getting hard fast. Destroyed a lot of brushes also.

How did I miss this thread??!?! DUDE! That design frikkin rocks! I need to start pushing my pencils again, but I just can't seem to get in the groove...

Thankx. Its still a WIP.

"Inspiration will come when you're working" - Some Famous artist. Just draw & keep doing it. It needs to start as some small squiggles of pencil lines on paper, pretty soon you'll be running out of paper and having too many ideas. Then you realize you can create more variations on a theme than you know what to do with it. I drew about 6-8 pages of garbage until I came up with this idea, now I look at others (Steve Wang) sculpt works, I get more ideas to make it look cooler. Now I'm stuck with too many ideas so I have to combine all the best into one.

"If you wanna start groovin you gotta start by movin." So stretch your arms & body and start drawin.

Don't wait for inspiration. It comes while one is working.
- Henri Matisse

I'm gonna really work on it this weekend. Starting with the Plasterform tomorrow and over the weekend work on 1/4th sketch clay. Seriously.

Still inspireing, keep the faith and work on it... I yet have to start on my own projects, but they still lurk in the corners of my brain...

Yup, good to keep that inspiration energy flowing thru others. DO your thing man, so I can feel inspired.

I got a lot done today. Pull another Ancient Pred bio though it has a little bit deformity in the forehead part,
still a pretty casting. Also made the underform for the Bonehunter bio and another face mask totally custom and related to the
new Punisher Movie. More later

Mini Update:

Added new re designs to the Jaw and glyphed versions. Also cracked battle damage variations.
The symbols are drawn in Adobe illustrator using symbols that's on Wolf's Bio

I'm for glyphed.

Ok my choice. Reason why is the
* cracked+ glyphed is over the top.
* cracked is going to be more standard
* clean...no way

The glyphed one is more mysterious. It adds to the form of the bio!! HOEHA!!

Go for glyphed, but try to incorporate skull-like seams in the sculpt/paint.

Yup Looks like the Glyphed one I will Sculpt.
The skull seams/lines will also be sculpted in the last stages of detail.
Got a bunch of references for it and got some real skulls.
Thanks for voting. I will be busy in the next 2 months.
Check Back!

I think you should go with "Glyphed"!

It calls out.
