LED electronics question

So, I need to wire up some LEDs in a manner similar to Iron Man eyes, but a solid bar as opposed to two separate eyes. I'm still wanting to see out of it, from under it like Iron Man. The bar is 5.7-6" in length, and I want the LEDs to be the absolute brightest possible.

Could any of you electronic gurus give me a hand? Thanks!

I was actually hoping for more of a technical answer. I know what was used, but not how it was used.
