Has anyone here seen this? Or managed to get in on the first run? I believe they teased this around three years ago. It looks amazing.

Yup. I ordered it immediately. Mine is #3 on the run. They started to email people on the interest list yesterday. I emailed them about a year ago inquiring about it.

They said that on Friday, March 11, they will open orders up for general sale. I would advise contacting them to get on the waitlist for Friday.

Yeah I contacted them a couple of days ago as soon as I heard about it. Was told I should make the first 35.

Yes I saw this on Facebook whilst doing some research and planning by own build. That was why I was asking about mystery chunks the other day.

I’ll probably still try to build my own though, as I don’t t have the kind of disposable income needed.

It does look absolutely fantastic and it’s not a helmet you see made very often.

I've toyed with the idea of doing this costume on and off for years, which is what led me down the path to sourcing parts for the Vibro Axe (and subsequently finding the soakers). This helmet is easily one of the coolest designs in the films and my favorite costume of Lando's by a mile. I'd be eager to see Clothear's version when people start receiving their order!

I’m interested in seeing the liner, the one Adam savage handled at the prop store looked like it was just padded with foam, the version that was on display had this type of liner. I’d love to know how they found the correct liner and where it’s from.

Yeah it's an interesting looking foam. It looks like the kind of stuff you'd see a computer packed in (back in the day) or medical supplies packed in for shipping. Like a lightweight low density foam with a lot of give.

I believe the one that sold at Prop Store was a production made helmet or prototype, but was not screen used.

For comparison this is the liner on Clothear's prototype from four years ago. Not sure if it's exactly the same as the one they're using now.

Looks nice, but I would need it to be full lineage to add it to my collection. I passed on their Boussh helmet, and now RS is producing a lineage version. I can hold out for a lineage version of this helmet, and hope that we get one someday.

I would be very tempted to buy that. There’s something very specifically nostalgic about the Skiff Guard disguise. I have perfect recall of being a kid and having Lando pull down the mask over his mouth and thinking “holy crap! This is gonna be awesome!”. lol

I jumped in this helmet immediately and snagged no 1.
great helmet
