Lance Boyle (MegaRace) Research

Oh boy, here's a really obscure one for you guys. I figure I can do this costume because it should be easy to pull off since it's just regular formal clothes (just in weird colors).

Anyways, this is Lance Boyle, who's the host of "MegaRace", a videogame that came out in 1993. The game had 20 minutes of live-action video featuring this guy. You'll either love him or hate him as he's one of those annoying overacting game show hosts. Later on in MegaRace 2 and 3, he get's very flamboyant and over-the-top. LOL

As stupid as this sounds, do you think it's possible if anyone can ID the tie he's wearing? Also, I'm new to costume making, so I'm not entirely sure what style/type of jacket he's wearing. If you can help me with that, that would be cool too. Sorry for the low quality images (this is from 1993 from a DOS game):

I haven't seen this guy in years! But, I always have remembered that name of his... "Lance Boyle"... it's just as abrasive as his personality. Fun game though!

Anyway, looking at his clothes it really just looks like a standard sport-jacket of the early 90's. So ugly! The tailoring on it however, is pretty bad even with the pixelation... I would wonder if it was made by his wife (for example).
I guess I don't really have any hard advice or facts to share. Having been 6 years old when that game came out though, this is a blast from the past for me

Yeah, I was 5 when I first got this game and it pretty much changed my life. The music is freaking amazing and I swear that I wouldn't be into techno music as much as I am because of this. Also, the designs of the cars and the environments are very "Moebius"-like; which makes sense due to the fact that this game was made in France. That probably helped me get into cyberpunk stuff as well.

Thanks for the sport jacket suggestion, Tsuyosa! Yeah, the live-action is very low-budget. They probably blew all the money on rendering the CGI for the cars and racetracks. LOL

Old thread but whatever. Just saw on imdb they are making a new game and Lance Boyle is back in it too! Loved this old game!
