KYLO REN TIE SILENCER 1/6 SCALE BUILD

So, the next project to tackle is the TIE Silencer. Kylo Ren's mean, dark, slick killing machine...one of my fave's from the new slew of digital creations. This will be 1/6 scale, so just shy of 3m long, wing tip to tip

I have modelled the ship with a view to generating PDF/SVG files to create the wings and hull but most of the smaller components will be 3D printed
You can tell this ship was created by computer software when you model it...everything is primitives and symmetry and extrusion

Presumably there was no actual Studio Scale model of this ship, so I will also make a 1/24 scale model to test everything and compare to the 1/24 SS Tie fighter I made recently

Finally! I have been waiting for someone to put out good files of this ship for years, and your files are always amazing. Grabbing these for sure, thanks for making these available. Once I wrap up a few thing on my bench, this is next up on my list to build.

Got everything printed for the 1/24 scale model, except the other wing. Very happy with the parts...they all fit together nicely. Should be ready to start the 1/6 version once I've assembled and painted this puppy

Nice work! I will start printing mine next week and I cant wait to get this built, painted and install the lights.

OK it's time to finish the 1/6 build...first stop to detail the cockpit so I can finish assembling the main fuselage and get on to the wings;

So, got the wings all built...one finished and painted and one on the way...a lot more work than you'd think but they're ready for paint now;

Should be able to finish the whole thing next week

The shades are actually Nylon barrier mesh...think it does the job

Super job and did I see a Imperial ship in there that was big and the fighter looks wonderful for the mesh check out my shelf build and see the mesh I used on the windows it is a lawn and garden mesh and you can get in rolls great for scratching a cool looking mesh Great Work as Always Thanks for sharing
