Kylo Ren Helmet Cheek Fabric

What fabric is everyone using inside the helmet in the cheek areas? I'm thinking about using the fabric from the hood that came with the Disney version.

I used cheap black pantyhose from Walmart, cost about 5 bucks.

I used some socks i found at Asda.

Black cheesecloth or nylon mesh.
