This beastie was done last year by Bob (Hand Solo) with the original studio model as it’s example. Bob even placed the “ghost” Cylon insignia just to the right of the cockpit (pilot POV) just as the original had! He took artistic license with some panels to give the piece a little “realism”… something I often ask for. He did a GREAT job as usual!
As usual, the only enhancements were the stands being eliminated, the contrast slightly adjusted, and my water mark added.
The undercarriage of this beastie is BEAUTIFUL! Mark Dickson did a wonderful job in making the master pattern for Jim Key! I am not good enough to paint out the stand for the undercarriage shot with so much detail covered, so I left the stand in the photo.
I had fun photographing this beastie piece! But now I have the Battlestar Galactica theme going through me head! LOLOLOLOL
