Kroenen sandstorm costume ideas?

Im working on the helmet right now, but do any of you guys have any ideas what his uniform could have possibly looked like? I was thinking maybe an afrika corp uniform? or what if it was just a regular gray of green Nazi uniform? I cannot decide, there's so many ones that go with the helmet.

Nice idea... but well, Kroenen was SS top brass and unless I'm wrong there were no SS in Afrika Korp in WWII.
Fact is we just don't know where that particular mask would have been used (other than knowing it was in sandy conditions, but there is a lot of sand in the world not just in Africa) , so in that respect you have a lot of licence to play with costume wise.

Yup, there was no SS (Waffen or otherwise) in North Africa. The SD was there, though.

Regardless, Kroenen wasn't real, anyway.

Well, my idea is, just find a cool uniform that goes with the sand mask.(Im sure he would have had more than just his leathery dress uniform for fighting) Instead of it being a sand storm mask, what if its actually just white-ish and the weathering is from dirt and oil and leaks in the mask and such?

you know ,the mask could be a snowstorm mask..the screen shot only shows a dirty beat up "white" mask..and the ss were in tunis...soooo since the movie played up the occult you could make kroenen's mask anything you want..

Mrpagan. I never considered it to be a snow mask. Thats PERFECT! Story wise it makes PERFECT sense! It is said that the entrance to the middle of the "hollow" earth is located in Antarctica. Plenty of thule society and occult references that Kroenen would be right there with them!
