Klingon D5 Tanker 1/350

It's one of the first Klingon ships we see on Enterprise.
I've start to build the a 3D model for print a while ago. And manage to finish the files and to print it on my resin printer.

base colour on the booster before the back cowl part is glued over it.

All LED wiring are done.


I decided to light up the windows and the torpedo tube armed. I use only one LED to light up rhe whole windows in the head section. Won't them to be too bright.

First tank is painted and the main color palette for the ship is fixed

Some support failure…

...fixed with help of tape and uv-resin

Base color is on. Also the panels with a slight darker tone.

Start with I like most on building klingon ships: weathering. First pass is done...



and fininished all 8 tanks.



Also the base plug is glued into brass tube.

A quick update. Paint job is mainly done.



Had some metal work to do. Most of the rods will be out of brass, copper and steel pipes and tubes...

All rods and pipes are done. Some fitting tests, trimming and color and I can glue the last parts.
