Hi Govner, thanks for all of the updated scans, they're great. Just one point however, this Yamato is the new tool version and is not suitable for the SS builds. If you want it for greeblies/nurnies for other stuff, that's fine. The SS donor is kit number 9.Cheers,
Interesting, thanks for the info Rats. According to my research, the 31544 was released in the 70's and the B009*700 was released in the 80's as a new box, but not a new tool. More out of curiosity than anything else, is there an example of a part that would be different in the two models? My conclusions are based on the information from scalemates, so perhaps it is possible that info is flawed.

Hi Guvnor,
Scalemates is wrong. Nearly all of the parts are quite different. The layout on the sprues is different and the part numbers are different.
The attached picture shows the main funnel parts from the old and new versions as an example.

As you can see, they are very different!
BTW, where in Boston are you? I lived in Belmont for a year in 1978-79, loved it and always wanted to go back to Boston.

Hi dear friends,

M8 munition Carrier from Aurora 1/48.

I realize some pictures with measurements (French and US), this can help to make the parts.

I realize some pictures with measurements (French and US) for certain parts, this can help to make them.

Note for Five Foot Millennium Falcon : While this kit has a number of items required for the rear mandela, the correct kit is the military version of this kit primarily for the pannier hanger

Hey Rats,
Just saw this (6 months later - LOL). Just getting back into my build after the summer. I have a place in Back Bay, but I am spending most of my time in Maine these days. Go back and forth now and again, but the build is happening in ME.
Anyway, thanks for the clarification. Getting all these parts sorted is a challenge to say the least!

Please, if possible, check if the decals are included in the scan posts and add them if missing. It makes getting the markings sorted on some of these builds possible.

Regards, Robert
