*Sorry, but somehow I messed up with the first thread of this... i cant open it. Please ignore it and use this thread*

Hello there. I want to put together an assault rifle from the game "Killzone 2".

In the past I read somewhere that it was designed from various real life guns. But I couldnt find any more information about it.

Maybe some of you have any more detailed information :)

Greetings,

The base rifle is an M4 that's been heavily modified to look like a bullpup by taking the mag well and ejection port area and moving back to the stock. The sight is stock alhtough I don't know the exact name of it but it's a form holographic/red dot sight, try doing a search for that and I'm sure you'll find it. The flash suppressor/muzzle brake might be stock (check airsoft of custom AR sites) and the front rails are stock but everything else looks like it might be custom made.

I believe the sight is based off of an EOTech sight:

They're not cheap. ;)

It also gets a lot of it's design from the ZM Weapons LR-300.

It's pretty much just a bunch of "cool" stuff thrown together to look good. Could probably get a few airsoft AR's and combine them together.

The front end definitely looks like an LR-300 with the front gas block adjuster removed and a stock AR/M16 grip.

The good news is that they do make an airsoft version of the LR-300, the bade news is that they run from $180 - $230, a bit pricey for something that you're going to have chop the hell out of. From the looks of it at the least you're going to have to chop off the mag well, at lest enough so that it's not really visible and exposes the front of the trigger guard. Then you'll have to remove the ejection port cover and cover up the ejection port so that it looks like it's not there. Last but not least will be taking the mid-section (mag well up) from another AR/M16 and attack it to the stock. Given all that work I'd either see if there's not a boneyard (ie non-fucntional) one for cheap or buy a cheapie M16 and buy the front end components separately, that's assuming that they're sold separately. Or you could dip the whole thing in a whole lot of silicone and make a cast of it and chop up and work off the cast and keep or sell off the airsoft.

Wow, thank you for this amount of infos :) It really is a helpf for the beginning !

@gary: Thats a nice replica.

You are right, this is a little too much money for a softair gun that is going to be disassemblied. But due to my lack of casting, I see no other way in going for that.
