Kill Bill Bride's Sword

I have looked all over the place and it would seem that no one makes an accurate Bride's sword. Does anyone know of where to get one or if someone will commission one? Im not looking for anything crazy just rather screen accurate and a decent quality blade would be nice but not essential.

have you tried flea bay? there is a bill and bride set signed by david carradine on at the moment.don't how good they are but they are there.

If you're looking for a functional custom katana talk to irishamericanlad here on the RPF.

Very interesting video!!! I'd be still interested in a bride sword coming as close as this one...

I know how you feel, when the movie came out I had a crappy replica and kind of forgot about ever having a truely accurate one. Then around 2016 I randomly searched for the sword on eBay and saw a fairly expensive handmade sword from China that looked really accurate. I started researching all the known screen caps from the hero sword and also here for answers. It was super close so I decided to get it. The only mod I did to it was retying the Sageo for more accuracy. This is one of my favorite and prized replicas. And now after seeing the video with Adam Savage, I feel like mine is even more valuable--I'm only missing the gold stripes on the Saya which I never knew existed until that vid lol. Here are some pics

Thanks for the pics. May I ask where you got this from? Is it still purchasable?
Unfortunately I don't remember who the maker was. It was just a random listing I happened to see on eBay. At the time there were a few different makers in China competing with each other and this is the one I chose. I don't currently see it available right now

Jason Blackeys Kill Bill build was amazing and a huge help for me and the Arcadia KB is one of the best. I wish I had their skills but I don't . I ordered the KB Bride katana from Ryansword made with 1095 through hardened blade and I asked them if they could carve the Lioness on the saya since most of the others have the wrong symbol. They did it for free and I did the rest. Tozando Japan has the Hanzo Iron tsuba and menuki but its not listed unless you search the options in the custom Iaito fittings. The tsuba, menuki and sageo were shipped fast to the US and cost me about $120 total. Yamoto B is no longer taking online orders but I found the kojiri on ebay for $30. Most cast kojiri are made to fit the slim Japanese Iaito saya so if you use a chunky Chinese saya like the ones Ryansword and other Longquan do, it wont fit until you remove some wood. I still have filling and touch up work to do on the saya and a few other small things but its looking good. It also cuts really well and has stayed sharp. The Highlander sword is not finished but my Hanwei Practica Plus needed a new wrap so I remounted it. The cost was only $50 for the tsuka and tsuba and the blade is easy to remove for cleaning or fixing loose fittings.
