Kid Flash, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Riddler, and Harley Quinn?!?!

Hey! So I'm new to the world of cosplay but I have experience in making costumes but I need help with props and stuff. I'm just posting this thread to welcome new ideas for my creations. I'll post some pictures of my progress for each character. My Harley Quinn is practically done but I need to change some stuff.

Disclaimer: My Harley Quinn cosplay is of my own imagination. I did not follow/copy anything from DC, DeviantArt, etc. I am a dancer and have been a dancer my entire life and I think Harley Quinn is adorably bubbly mixed with the right amount of crazy. So I decided to put my two hobbies (comics and dance) together and made a Ballerina Harley Quinn! I googled it and there are some versions of this already but I thought they were tacky and I made my own costume from the ground up. Here's the final product as of FCBD on May 3, 2014.

I'm currently working on the following characters.

Green Arrow New 52 Zatanna - Young Justice Kid Flash - Young Justice The Riddler

The thing I need help with the most is Green Arrow. I'm using Craft Foam to make the wrist guards and to make the shin guards but I'm not sure how I'm going to exactly make the belt or the quiver.

I also need ideas on how I can make the tailcoat for Zatanna since if I try to buy one it would be up towards the $100's.

Any input on any of the characters would be helpfull :)

For Green Arrow: Do you have access to a sewing machine and/or do you have any experience with sewing? If yes, Green Arrow's belt could be constructed of a combination of a cheap cloth belt (found at some discount store like TJ Maxx or Marshall's) combined with they kind of Nylon strapping you'd find on your typical back pack (5 feet is like $4 at most fabric stores).

The buckle looks like it could be a little tougher if you don't have any experience molding and casting, or just do not want to deal with that (I would not blame you). If not the mold/cast route, I would suggest forgoing it for a standard gold-colored belt buckle. It's a pretty small piece, and if everything else on the costume is high quality, that will easily be overlooked.

Finally, for the quiver: Will you be doing the flat quiver that takes up his entire back, or the standard rounded quiver? I have seen the round quiver made out of cardboard tubing, pvc pipe, even EVA foam. The flat quiver is probably best done with cardboard, then covered with either fabric or Plasti Dip to make it look less like cardboard.

For Zatanna... I suggest searching the internet for some fabric patterns. The trick with the tail coat seems to be building it in sections: back panel is one long piece from neck to tails, then sleeves, size panels, and front panels. Not only does this allow for easier fabric cutting and stitching, but it gives you a little wiggle room to make it as form-fitting as you want it. If you don't want to buy it from scratch, you could find a cheap biker style jacket, and just sew tails (made of a similar material) onto it. Or, just wait until Halloween season and you can probably find one a lot easier.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thank you for your help!!
Yes I have a sewing machine and I'm experienced in sewing. I think my main concern about the belt is how it swoops down where he has canisters. And I'm not a good molder/caster so I'll probably buy a gold piece like it or even just make it out of moldeling clay and glueing it on to the belt itself. The quiver I need to make is the flat box quiver since that is what my friend wants and I think your idea will work wonderfully.
As for Zatanna- I think I'll find a pattern and go off of that. This is for Wizard's World - Chicago on August 24th so I won't have time to wait for Halloween to come around.

Thanks again for your help. I truly appreciate it! :)

UPDATE: Well 2 of the people I was making cosplays for have decided to CHANGE who they want to be. Instead of Kid Flash and Zatanna they decided to be Poison Ivy and Black Mask. I have experience in making Poison Ivy cosplay(Unfortunately I sold my last cosplay) but I am confident in making a new one. I am however conflicted of making the Black Mask cosplay. I have shoulder holsters and I bought a general skull mask that i'm going to add extra layers of latex to create depth and the shape of the mask. A little scared but I think it'll turn out pretty well.
