Just saw the finale of Smallville.

Tell you what I liked it better than Superman Returns, the chemistry between Lois and Clark was really natural on the show. They should have made a Smallville movie instead of Returns. Just wish Chris Reeve woulda been able to be around for it.

I think the major failing with Superman returns was Brian Singer, I haven't liked anything he's done. He's another one of these directors to takes on the job even though he was never a fan of the source material just like Michael Bay with Transformers. Building on a Lana/Lois/Clark love triangle could have been worked into a Smallville movie.

What's worse is around that time Lana actually some personality as compared to the wooden standee they used for the first however many seasons.

I would have liked to see the other heroes of the world do something. I figure during the final event you could have a cutaway of seeing all the heroes we have meet throughout the series helping out the general population.

Oh and Lana would have been useful when General Zod was taking over the place

Having Lex become President really made me want them to do a Superman movie that has the heroes form the Justice Lords and have Supes nuke Lex like in the JLA cartoon.

'Arrow' is what Smallville should have been like IMO. I'm really loving Arrow so far-- and before, Green Arrow was a DC character I didn't give a damn about, so that's saying something!
