Just revamped my collection!!!

Hi Paul,
Yep, Moodiesburn. I use a local framers in a wee place called Mollinsburn (5 minute drive away), who have framed things for us for years now, one of the last things they did for me was my X23 print, which i was super happy with, and my friend just had a custom judge dredd artwork with one of the badges i got him from wake framed up and it looks superb. So ordering my poster now.......!!!!! However thank you for the offer paul.

Picked up my custom glass case for my IM MkI Chestpiece today....















This thing rocks BIG TIME! Not exactly screen accurate due to its hieght but I'm super happy with it!!:cool:thumbsup

....and yeah, I know its covered in fingerprints....Ill give it a good clean soon!! :)

Ive now removed the wee stand I had it sitting on....looks better m'thinks!!







I promise Ill give the glass a good clean soon!!

Leaves the IM display with a more 'cleaner' feel to it m'thinks!!

I certainly wouldnt say this was a 'good one' as, quite frankly, the finish is pretty poor in all honesty. However, these flaws are only seen under close inspection. Aslong as it stays in the same state, Ill be happy enough with it.
I will say this though, SS wasted another great opportunity with this.....a second rate finish, hellishly long waiting time and of course, leaving out the chestpiece......Ill seriously reconcider ordering from them again!!

I LOVE THAT IRONMAN 1:1 BUST!!! I thought about getting that, now I know I have to! Now to save my pennies. Your collection is looking really great. I am almost done with my IM interior. Do you have any ideas on how I should display this? I thought about getting a stand made that rotates, so you can see the outside and inside. Your thoughts?

Brad, I love that mask mate....I cant tell you how much I want one (along with the STARK4 license plate:love). Now displaying it will certainly bring up an issue as its basically two sided. A rotating stand would be perfect but that reminds me of the spotlights I got for my displays....I turned them on to begin with as they where cool but, theyve not been turned on since!!:rolleyes:lol

To be honest mate, if it was for my display, I'd either go with glass case to match the arc reactor case or simply have it sitting freely next to my IM bust.

Thanks Brad. I had originally planned on the inner frame (that isnt a silver card mount) being gold to match the Sideshow T3 Print that I have but this has worked out just grand!!:):thumbsup
 
This thread has me pumped up to put all of my replicas and geek stuff displayed nicely in my spare room, My own geek museum... I like the sound of that ! Nice collections !
