Thanks to Cyrix for the logo pic.

I've contacted the company to see if they still have these, but I'm not finding anything online for sale.

Long shot I know, but anyone have one laying around they don't want or have an online/offline source?
 
I was just thinking about this after watching recently. your dedication is admirable.
 
Here's a higher resolution image of that shot for completedness sake even though you've already identified the patch.
There seems to be a belt loop on the other side.
 
Well Adventure 16 no longer makes these....so any would have to be found on the open 2nd hand market or made.

Who sells 18+ year old water bottles?
 
A16 used to be the go to place for camping gear here in Santa Monica. Before REI came on the scene.

I don't have that bottle, but I probably have some other gear with that tag sewn onto it. That's their old logo.
 
I can't even find pictures of this anywhere, much less someone selling it.
Your best bet would probably be making it yourself and then trying to get one of the tags to sew on it.

Would this be stuff you still use and have an attachment to or something that you'd feel ok removing the label from and sending my way?
Because that would be awesome!!

I'll look around. I may have one on something in storage. If I can find one and remove it, it's yours.
 
I looked through my camping stuff. The only A16 item I could find with a cloth woven tag like that was a waterproof hat. But the logo on the tag is a later logo that looks much different (though it's definitely the same size tag). I think I bought that hat in 1994 (which would be a year after the movie came out, and at least 2 years after they filmed the movie). So I guess they changed the logo somewhere in that time. Funny enough, it's not the same logo they use today either, so it must have changed again since then.

No worries, this will be one of those sought after props that will take a long time to find :)

Not to bump an old thread, but just wondering if anyone else had any input on this?

Company got back to me, no longer have nor sell that style.
eBay....nothing even close.
Wanted ads in camping/hiking forums, nothing.

Looks to be a 'build or live without' on this one.
 
I'd love to get one of these too. I'll dig around and see if I have any luck. If you find multiple labels please let me know.
 
Hey I used to be in boy scouts and was an eagle, but i still keep in touch with a few of them. I will ask around to see if they might have one, seeing that we bought from them a lot back then. i will even look in my old camping gear as well.
 
I spent an hour or so on eBay trawling through the water bottle pouches they have and some are 'close' but nothing that jumps out at me. The kicker is the label....get that drawn up in Photoshop and get some made then attach them to other pouches.

That seems about it but now you guys have posted I'll wait and see what you may come up with :) Thanks again
