Jurassic Park Jeep

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep - Now with involuntary dino damage :-/

I aspire to do what you've done good sir! Sorry to hear about the damage though, all i can say is now you get to relive all the fun of painting the first time :lol

Awesome. Great work.

Thanks for sharing!

Re: Jurassic Park Jeep - Now with involuntary dino damage :-/

How can all this damage happen, how can you rip a seat? I would be pissed big time, whats with the chipped paint near the red, seems like something loose was hitting the same spot over and over.

GF, I'm guessing something wasn't secure - perhaps a strap flapping in the wind on the highway, or maybe the whip antenna.

Glad to see this is being resolved, sooner rather than later, but I don't like the apparent Zerg rush that BJ specifically said not to do. If some idiots went off half-******, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do.

Also;

ZERG RUSH! kekekekekekeke :lol

Been wanting to do a JP Jeep for awhile, but living in near Denver, I'm afraid I'll constantly be accused of copying Boomer. Plus, I'm wanting to do my own color scheme. Not sure how well that'd fly.

(Met Boomer this year at Starfest in Denver. He had the JP Jeep, I had the JP costume.)

Let me know what you plan on doing! There are multiple Jeeps, I've yet to see someone do #29!

You should go like Colorado Movie Cars on facebook and come hang with us, we'd love to help out!

Where did you get the graphics? i cant find them anywhere

99.9999% of best movie car replicas have their graphics cut by local shops. Don't buy from ebay sellers, they won't ever match your paint.

As for the graphics files themselves, check out Redirecting to Jurassic Park Jeep Forum, there's an entire subform and even a megathread devoted to useable files.

Just get the files you want, slam them on a disk, and go to a local sign shop. You'll be jeeping in no time! :D

Very cool. I always thought if I got a Jeep that I would convert it to a JP jeep. Looks like a long process but AWESOME results!

wow i cant believe the company would do that
i wouldnt let them show it till they did the repairs or would cover it in writing

but sexy jeep as always

sorry to see what those bozos did to ur fine piece of craftsmanship you worked so hard on, its always tough to see that kind of stuff when people get careless. but yours is the best JP jeep i've seen

Faaaaar from the best! Cyrix in Florida was the first person to get the paint color right, then he went and blew us all out of the water with a perfect screen accurate winch, as well as the golights with brushguards along the top.

That jeep is, supposedly, now on Oahu driving around on the 'real' Isla Nublar, which is incredibly fitting.

There are easily a dozen or so Jeeps out there of higher caliber than mine. Easily! Hopefully I'll be able to get some work done this spring and it will back in the top 10, maybe. Definitely check out JurassicParkJeep.com if you're into this stuff, there are so many amazing Jeep and stories out there!
