Hi everyone!
I'm looking for good reference material of the Aspen Prison Guard helmet from the Judge Dredd movie.
Does anyone have some pics to share? Maybe you even have one of the buckets at hand and can tell me what colours to use? :love
Any help would be highly appreciated! :thumbsup

Many thanks! / nicklas

I recently bought a sculpt of an Aspen Guard helmet (see pics)
So desperately seeking some good pics of this helmet for painting.
Feel free to e-mail me at nicklarr@gmail.com
If you even have one of these at hand, any help on what colours to use, that would be great!

hey Judge, not to derail this thread but do you know of anyone who can recreate replica street judge armor?

Hey, no prob :) Judge armor is super-rare to come by, even recreated, I've only seen a few of them on the net. The helmets are more common I guess, haven't seen any armour offered other than the original stuff which is pretty xpensive!!

that's too bad, guess I have to try to make my own.
I better start gathering some references :)

Thanks man

Oh.. We had one original version laying arround. It was this we used and based our first Ironman helmet from. We better start looking arround. Might went with the truckload of debree and moulds we trew away when we moved workshop.

I have all the parts for Eagle and street judges, but decided not to produce them after finding out I was being shafted and before I had sold them ,found a former , what i thought was a friend had already arranged for 2 people to recast it

Hi Nick,
I think I have some detailed reference photo's of the original. My friend Steve owned it, I fell in-love with it, took reference pic's, intended to sculpt a repro, and promptly moved on to other projects. I found the pic's the other day. I'll dig 'em out.

I've got the pic's right here, but my wife has to show me how to scan them, ha-ha! I'll e-mail them to you when I get them scanned.

Hi all!

So I've been informed that the paint around the visor on the Aspen Prison Guard helmet is a type of "fleckstone" paint.
I've searched the net and found something that might work.

Krylon "make it stone" black granite spray paint

Krylon: Products: Make It Stone!® Textured Paints

For the badge I also found the Krylon Gold Premium which looks like it would make a great gold shine.

Anyone have any experience with these Krylon products?

The trouble is, I can't find anyone that sells them in Europe (I'm in Sweden) and the US sellers don't seem to ship overseas.
