I'm at the same point too - that cost really isn't going to matter so long as I have it for Halloween.
This whole operation is really getting to me because I am still out most of the costume components, mainly because I am such a stickler for accuracy I won't buy anything less than perfect.

Well, I can provide accurate reproductions of every part of this costume except the pants at the time being...

The ties should be ready in a month or so (these will be professionally woven, NOT printed), I should have a coat finished for viewing in a few weeks (though I am making it in charcoal for someone, but purple isn't a problem), the vest and jacket are easy and the shoes we can do as well...
