Joker cane - Need advice/suggestions

So I picked up one of these soap bottles thinking it would make a great cane topper, which it does.

I thinking about are painting the head and cane tip gold. I'm also wondering how I can taper down the break between the head (Joker's neck) and the cane.

Anyone have any thoughts/ideas?

You could use Apoxie sculpt, it's a 2 part apoxy that cures rock hard with no baking to taper the cain to the head...... you could make it a cone shape, then put some lapels, a white shirt, and a tie on it.

That's a great idea! I'd probably paint it either gold or brass. As for tapering the neck, personally I'd probably just use a thick washer or some kind of ring. Something found in the hardware store that's the right size.

What about casting it and trimming and fitting the bottom to sit smoothly on the cane? Is that do-able? Would anyone be interested in a comission?

I think it looks pretty darned good as is.

I would put a ball underneath the head - would look a little more 'finished' in my opinion.
