Some time ago I saw a website that was making Mini Johnny 5's, they were really cool but Not cheap.

I knew a guy a few years ago that had a head and about the waist down complete. Wish I would have gotten pics becasue I adore johnny 5. Doesn't mean I cared for the movies. (the 2nd one anyway) but like the robot.

Speaking of the 2nd one, weren't there a bunch of J5 mini remote control robots in that movie?

I have 2 Johnny 5 1/4 scale model kits.

The one ive been building into a action figure.Ive rebuilt just about everything I even have a ball joint in his neck so he can do any head position like the real j5.I think their are about 10 moveable parts on him sofare ive been working on him for about 3 years now.Im still working on him Ive resculpted ALOT of the parts so he has more of a toy look.I always wanted a toy of johnny 5 when I was a kid and this will be the closest ill get.I still have alot of work to do I plan on haveing him all done over the summer.

The second one is unworked on I bought 2 of them back when they came out.I think only 11 or 14 where made ?

I have one of those J5 models. I paid $110 for it, and I have never assembled it due to the swiss cheese castings. One day I will get around to it.

I sat through SC2 just to see the robot It sure wasn't for the movie.

DB, did yours come with good castings, or swiss cheese castings?

My castings are good theirs some pin holes etc thats the only real problum.What does your casting look like ?
