Hi Jim
The "moustache" or nose part (circled in the below pic), looks too pointy on the upper curve. Will this be fixed on the helmets you ship as it needs to be a smooth curve rather than going to a point?

Not at all. You paint it as you would anything. By potential problems i mean possible fit issues due to remote fitting, damage to paint/finish during shipping etc.
No plans of doing this is abs as of yet. I like the flexible fiberglass too much.

Shipping a few more kits out tomorrow!
I just discovered that the bubble lenses for the FOTK Ver 2.0 helmet do not fit properly on the FOTK Ver 3.0. So i will have to make a new buck and vacuform new bubble lenses for FOTK ver 3.0. If ever, i can ship the FOTK armor ahead of the helmet, in case i don't have lenses ready. I hope to vacuform them before Friday next week. Those who ordered Phasma helmets, the older bubble lenses fit fine.

the v2 had the correct curve didn't it? is there much difference between the v2 and v3? as i don't really want to have to "fix" issues with the cast to be honest

Yep, v2 and v3 have many major but subtle differences. It's a very easy fix. The curve is correct, the encircled portion is only on the surface and is one of the signatures. If it bothers you, it's an easy fix with a spot of putty.

I understand you said you were going to add little signature flares so you can spot your own design, but that is a pretty noticeable one to be honest which definitely needs fixing. Can you post a side by side comparison for the v2 and v3? I might prefer to have the v2 with my kit please if that doesn't have the "pointy nose"

The v2 is what i have on in page 1. You will have to cut the lenses and/or mouth out, sand, primer, maybe bondo, then paint anyway, so if you want to get rid of the sig you can do so with a spot of putty or just sand smooth.
