Lucky devil you! The helmet and chest look really sharp and gorgeous! You could never get that level of detail from vac forming.

Glad it got there safe and sound! The clip greeblies should be there with the armor. wrapped up in bubble wrap.

Awesome video! So would you say prep work is very minimal?

Is the helmet also fiberglass or just resin?

And how do the pieces take to trimming? Such as the pill holes in the chest.

Your Kit looks very cool. Just wondering if it would be possible to get spare fiberglas/resin plates for making shims for this kit? Im 6.3 and 38 inch waist. Also how much would shipping to Denmark be?

I wouldn't say minimal, but the raw casts are pretty smooth already. My paint guy finished it in only 3 days.
The helmet is rigid fiberglass.
Oh the flexible stuff is very easy to trim. For the chest vents i just drilled the appropriate sized holes then finished the cut out with an Xacto knife. I trim the biceps and shins with lexan or aluminum shears.

Yes, the helmet requires several rounds of wet sanding. Before and after primer.

At that height and waistline i don't think you'll need any shims...or any modifications for that matter. You'll just have larger gaps between pieces..just like the taller troopers in the movie. I'll send you a pm re shipping.

There was a certain spray that Anovos told people to use. May be best to go with that to color match with other troopers. Though I have no idea how it would handle flexing.

Here is what I found off of FISD.

You will need to paint otherwise the shades of white will not match. (Who knew white had various shades??) The paint you will need to use so your armor matches the helmet is Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2x UltraCover Paint+Primer in gloss white. Or at least, that's what the alphas were told to use so the ABS will match the helmet.

So far, paint chipping isn't an issue. Thoughts seem to vary on clear coating.

Awesome thanks! I've used gloss over rustoleum gloss white and it looks basically the same but protected. Shouldn't affect the shade of white so much as the shine maybe
