Limited Run: The Last Jedi Praetorian Guard Helmet, Armor, and Soft parts

Hi All!

We’re finished the Armor and the soft parts and are now starting limited runs of 30 sets each.

Armor will be cast in our flexible fiberglass mix and will be cast in red as well. We’ve designed it to be very easy to assemble. Armor comes pre-trimmed and partially assembled. If it fits you OTB then you can go straight to rigging. Because it is cast in red, you may opt to just give it a wet sanding, and a gloss coat. Armor will include all hard parts, including as well as an option for a Large set with larger arm sections (by 1”) and ab sections (by 4”). You also have three choices of helmets: The Samurai, Knight, or Mando.

We are also offering the soft parts: Pebbled faux leather shirt and pants with jersey and mesh sections for breathability, and a wool skirt

Note: #14 is measured as follows: start at waist, down to where you want the crotch to hang, up the back opposite the starting point. The endpoint of #12 and #14 should be the same. #11 is measured from nape to bottom of the butt.

I will be needing a 40% deposit to include you in the run and to get started on your kit.

If you’re ordering the soft parts only, I’ll need full payment plus a flatrate 45usd shipping fee.

Balance and shipping will be due when I have your kit on hand, ready to ship.

FAQ

1. Will this armor fit me?

The armor is scaled to a regular Stormtrooper. Without mods, ideal height would be 5’7 to 6’0. Armor is made of flexible fiberglass and the abdominal section will fit a waistline range of 32” to 41” without mods. The smallest arm piece at the wrist is around 11" in circumference so it should fit most hands. There is also a lot of allowance at the sides of the chest and back. The Large option will have the circumference of each arm piece larger by 1” and the ab section larger by 4”. Shins are scaled similarly to a classic Stormtrooper. All this being said, the armor can be easily modded to accommodate a very wide range of sizes, either by trimming or by adding shims.

1. Is this armor 501st approved?

First off, the 501st doesn't approve just the armor. Nor is any armor "501st approved" out of the box. You have to have all the elements of the whole costume, build and wear the costume to match the CRL and be approved as an individual. That being said, i made this armor with 501st approval as a priority, mainly because I want to be approved wearing it. I’ve had access to hi-res reference photos, toys, and other references. The CRL for the Praetorian, however, has yet to be released.

1. What is the lead time for orders?

Casting the armor / helmet usually takes around a week or two if I don’t have them in stock. The soft parts take 1-2 weeks depending on volume

This is probably my most favorite costume of the new trilogy.
