I'm now the very proud owner of this fibreglass hull section of the ORCA II:

My HUGE thanks to Jim and of course Lynn and Susan Murphy for allowing me to own this little piece of JAWS history.

A couple more shots of the piece :-

The reverse side:

With handwritten COA from The Murphys (address removed from pic by me, as a courtesy to them):

I will be custom framing this piece for a wall display.

Suffice to say, I'm delighted.

It is my understanding that there is VERY little of the old girl left now, so my thanks again to Susan and Lynn for this.

Regards!

Al

Nice, Al. You've been after this for a while now, eh? Amazing how a busted up piece of fiberglass can make one so happy. :lol I know the feeling.

Thanks all!

Yes, I have wanted this for a long time and you are quite right - it's amazing how an old bit of fiberglass can mean so much! :thumbsup

Very cool. Congrats!:thumbsup
I have a piece of Jabba's sail barge. Not much to look at, but means the world to me.
Please post a pic of when you get it framed.

It's only a piece of fiberglass on the surface, but the history and prestige of the piece makes it incredibly special. Congrats!

Congrats Al, that is one AWESOME piece!!! It's huge too, I was kind of expecting maybe a couple of inches square, but that's half the bloody boat :lol

It couldn't go to a better home :)

Cheers,

Kraig

I bet getting that made you "smile, you son of a b***h!"

Congrats, that's an incredibly, ridiculously awesome piece of cinema history.

Send me a PM if you think they (or you even) would snap me off a teeny tiny little piece for some casheesh.
