Jango Fett build

Here is what I am currently working on. It's a Sgt Fang bucket.

Just a couple of quick questions for the gang.

Is there no keyslot on Jango ?

What is on the right cheek ?

Looked at a ton of reference photos, and just can't tell, any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you go to the dented helmet forums www.thedentedhelmet.com i am sure you can get enough info from the guys there.

all i know is that your helmet is a good base to work on but you will have to do some modifications or if not change the left ear peace.:thumbsup

By left if you mean the pic left with the stalk ? its just not positioned properly. The side pieces are not glued on yet. Are they different from Boba to jango ?

Also that is not the RF that I am going to use, working on that piece now.


Something else I noticed looking at some other pics, is the T-visor wider on jango ?

the overall look of the sgt fang is more flared. Jango has almost the same look, but has key differences

1. the RF side ear caps are supposed to sit on top of the lower RF side ear cap, so the the prism detail fits snug.

2. Yes, Jango has 6 key slots

3. the object on the cheek, where on the boba, it is a bordon connector, appears to just be a shallow hole on the jango

4. the jango appears wider, but has squintier look. One thing to always keep aware of when installing the visor, is making both sides of the mandables even and straight.

TC... was just reading one of your build up threads at TDH. Thanks for the help and input. Nice work. What kinda screen are you using in back of the keyslots ? for some reason I thought it was just reg old metal screen door material.

For that build, I used regular metal screen you can pick up at a Micheal's or general craft store. I think its what is normally used to make plaster shapes?
If you want to be uber accurate, I believe the screen used helmets had exactly 7 opennings goin across.
