right on i i noticed cuz i did similar method with cardstock and resin. i apply them thin cuz of the cardstock gets too flemsy when wet. but thin applications on a good warm day is nothin. set up time is fast. im glad i signed up. i just want my own mk 42 in my closet and eventually do a version where i can magnetically suit up.:)

The colors are from Duplicolor paints "Perfect Match" from Pep Boy's and they are Inferno Red Metalic, Light Champagne Gol Metalic and Bright Silver!

Thanks for the kinds words everyone!

Just a question when you get around to the shoulders
will you be doing the silver (nut and bolt) endo parts under the red gold panel "attached" in the shoulder file

No i will not be modeling the nuts and bolts. Those would be way too hard to pep ;)

um ok i was looking closely at the suit, and i noticed this...View attachment 200724View attachment 200725View attachment 200726 it looks like the side things on the chest are slightly protruding...i dont know if its from the way that he is sitting like they're detached or something????

Yes those "wings" are separate from the rest of the chest and i did include them separate in my model :) The reason they look different is because the SDCC statue is one solid piece; the practical suit worn by the actors are (obviously) in many separate parts for moving, and those "wings" move when the arms go foreward for more flexibility :thumbsup

Hi Jackie

Sorry mate I worded it wrong :) I didn't mean the nuts and bolts hahaha yeah that would mean a nightmare to pep

what I meant to say was......

under the red and gold shoulder armour parts there is a silver "bracket" (the bit with the nuts and bolts on) that they fit onto because of the under endo suit you said you was going to model.
Would you be making these all in one file or separate because I was thinking of doing these in a type of rubber and I was thinking how to attach this to the shoulder, If the silver "bracket was separate maybe I could get more freedom to work a way around it

I didn't see a back file on the 42 perhaps I missed it?
