Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

back defenatly buddy :) then shoulder ,bicep neck and helmet hehehehehe :) great work buddy

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

Seems like building the chest and back together would make the most sense, but I am no where near starting either, so do what ever you like, Jackie.
It's your party... I'm just excited to see this thing coming together! The files are amazing! Thanks Jackie!

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

Just amazing

Personally I think the back, THEN the bicep/elbow, Neck and then shoulders

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

I think the back is best as well as it joins up with the chest also that's where I always start my pep builds :)

But yeah its totally up to you Jackie :)

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

hey Jackie awesome job on the chest!! I remember somewhere on this thread someone ask a question about the chest/back having that silver detail on the side. do you still plan on doing that or you change your mind?

found a picture in case you didn't know what i was talking about or the second one I found but looks like it's less detail and might be faster to model.

im on with the paper unfold jackie i should have it done by tonight buddy :) great work the chest is amazing bud

Thank you both so much, Jackie and Streetsoul!! Definitely been waiting for this! (sinceb I jumped the gun and started on th mk8/42 helmet).. Are there generic biceps/shoulder bells that could be used, or do i lick my chops in anticipation of actual mk42 ones coming down the road? PS...I used Jackies IP solid neck... PERFECT!!

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

Alright everyone ill model the back next :)

AFDesigns- Yes i was going to model that as a separate part that will fit inbetween with the back and chest :) Dont worry it will be included :)

spidey20091- Streetsoul is unfolding it :)

Swink6996- I would say if anyone needs biceps or shoulder files, to just use Helagaks files in the meantime :)

On a side note, here are some of my future plans for modeling:
-How does a 99% movie accurate Mk 42 and IP suit sound in HD for 3d printing :D;)
-And also, a semi-functioning endo suit (mainly for better articulation) that can be used for multiple iron man armors?

Just some ideas :) What do you all think?

:cool awesome that's great news coming from you. I always enjoy building the chest n back first for some reason but been working on the other parts you made. process is slow though cuz of work and get really tired and don't want to rush anything. lol good thing no work Monday..trying to finish both thighs at the same time.

well can't wait to see updates for the back/side piece Jackie and your future plans :thumbsup both are great defiantly like the second idea

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

jackie i think we all would love the endo suit

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! Chest added to first post!

Awesome :) Ive been coming up with a lot of ideas for that and have reaaaally been studying the endo tech from IM 1 and 2 (the flight test and the autopsy suit really helps) and im pretty sure i have the right idea for the articulation of just about everything :)
